The Bannock Street Garage was started by Eddie Morrissey and Dennis Hoge
Our goal was to create a neighborhood tavern with a comfortable, friendly atmosphere and use the building's roots, as an auto garage, for our theme.
The building previously served many years as a storage house for electronic supplies and was packed to the ceiling with circuit boards, wire spools and vacuum tubes.  Years before, it was a Volkswagen body shop named Der Motor Meister and a general auto mechanic shop prior to that.  Some of the original auto shop details can still be seen with the giant engine boom that swings over the bar, overhead shop garage doors and a tire rack that frames the bar.  Unfortunately, we had to cement over the underground hydraulic lift due to safety reasons.  In keeping with the auto shop theme, we managed to find some classic signage for the decor which is showcased by our prized rare Mobile sign.  If you are into cars or just into having a good time, come on down and see us in the Golden Triangle.

The Bannock Street Garage opened for business in September, 2004.
We are open daily at 3pm.
